Robert CookeRobert A. Cooke, Ph.D. is CEO and Director of Human Synergistics International and Associate Professor Emeritus of Management at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Cooke specializes in the development and validation of surveys used for individual, group, and organization development. His surveys include the Organizational Culture Inventory®, Organizational Effectiveness Inventory®, Leadership/Impact®, and Group Styles Inventory, which have been translated into numerous languages and used world-wide for developing leaders, teams, and organizations. He is the author of more than 75 articles, chapters, and technical reports in journals including Psychological Reports and The Journal of Applied Behavioral Science. Cooke received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, where he was a National Defense (Title IV) and Commonwealth Edison Fellow.

Janet SzumalJanet Szumal, Ph.D. is a Senior Research Associate for Human Synergistics International (HSI) and is the co-author of Management/Impact®. Her research on the reliability and validity of HSI’s diagnostic tools has appeared in The Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Psychological Reports, and The Handbook of Organizational Culture and Climate (Newbury Park, CA: Sage). She received her Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago and currently co-facilitates Human Synergistics’ accreditation program for Management/Impact and Leadership/Impact in the United States and is working on research regarding the impact of leaders and managers in different countries.

Tim KupplerTim Kuppler is the Director of Culture and Organization Development with Human Synergistics, a 40-plus-year pioneer in the field of workplace culture and leadership. He is also the co-founder of CultureUniversity.com, a 100% educational site with a faculty of culture experts and a purpose to positively impacting society on a global scale through culture awareness, education, and action. He is an accomplished speaker and recognized as a top 100 leadership conference speaker on Inc.com. He was a senior automotive executive and managed numerous culture and performance transformations with best practices featured in case studies, books, and keynote presentations. He was previously President of Denison Consulting and is the author of Build the Culture Advantage, Deliver Sustainable Performance with Clarity and Speed.

Roxanne RayRoxanne Ray is an Organization Development professional with 15 years of internal OD consulting and 18 years of management experience. She has recognized expertise in strategic program development and implementation, leadership development, and organizational/culture change. Roxanne designed and implemented best practice leadership development programs grounded in emotional intelligence principles, and she has expertise in an array of Human Synergistics’ integrated assessments.

Cheryl BoglarskyCheryl A. Boglarsky, Ph.D. is a Director of Research & Development for Human Synergistics International (HSI). Along with maintaining the scientific integrity of HSI products, she works closely with clients, researchers and students to ensure optimal outcomes in their projects. Her research has appeared in Journal of Environmental Medicine, Journal of International Management, and International Journal of Cross Cultural Management. Cheryl received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Wayne State University and is working on research regarding the interactions between gender and organizational norms.

Shaun McCarthyShaun McCarthy is an internationally respected authority on organizational culture and leadership with more than 30 years of consulting experience with an impressive list of companies in Australia, Asia, Europe, and North America. As a Director of Human Synergistics NZ Ltd and Human Synergistics Australia Pty Ltd, Shaun launched and expanded a dynamic and successful trans-Tasman business with HS offices in New Zealand (Wellington and Auckland) and Australia (Sydney and Melbourne) and partnership agreements with Singapore and Malaysia. His innovative approach to organizational culture and change continues to be employed by leaders across industry sectors.
